  No continental breakfast, definitely not worth the trip up north.

  The place is very expensive, given the remoteness and monopoly as this is the only hotel in hamlet. Basic room costs CAD 250. Meals are super expensive too but you can bring your raw food and the staff will help you with minor cooking. The staff is very nice and helpful. They keep things very clean and are always ready to help.

  We had a huge problem getting in touch with the guys at hotel. Internet search results more than 6 different phone numbers and none of them works. We had a contact in Arctic Bay who knew the correct phone number and did the reservations for us.

  The rooms have internet although painstakingly slow. Rooms are comfortable and have 24x7 hot water in shower. That's the most you should expect in a place so remote. If you think that you should get all the luxuries that you would otherwise get in a normal hotel costing $250 a night then you are mistaken. Moreover places like Arctic Bay are not for comfor seekers.
